基于PPLN光波导的可调谐CSRZ到RZ全光码型转换

摘 要: 研究周期极化铌酸锂(periodically poled lithium niobate,PPLN)光波导的级联和频与差频(cascaded sum�and difference�frequency generation, cSFG/DFG)效应,利用cSFG/DFG效应的非耗尽近似解析解,理论和实验实现了40 Gbit/s的可调谐载波抑制归零码(carrier�suppressed return�to�zero,CSRZ)到归零码(return�to�zero,RZ)的码型变换以及逻辑与门。

Abstract: This paper studied cascaded sum�and difference�frequency generation (cSFG/DFG) in periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide. The analytical solutions to cSFG/DFG are derived under non�depletion approximation. The paper has theoretically and experimentally demonstrated tunable format conversions from carrier�suppressed retur�to�zero (CSRZ) to return�to�zero (RZ) together with logic AND gate at the data rate of 40 Gbit/s.
