无线网状网中的分层合作式缓存系统研究

摘 要: 无线网状网(wireless mesh network,WMN)可以使Internet接入更广泛、更快速。合作式缓存是一项适合在无线多跳网络(包括WMN)中实现高速数据访问的新颖技术。描述了一个为WMN环境设计的分层合作式缓存系统。在这个分层缓存系统的体系结构中,各个客户端节点由其所在cell中的网状接入点协调。在cell层次和网络层次执行相应的缓存放置策略,不同层次的缓存放置由不同的度量指标决定。模拟结果显示:该算法比同类算法在访问时延和消息开销上表现得更好。

Title: Hierarchical cooperative data caching for wireless mesh networks

Abstract: Wireless mesh network (WMN) is a promising technology for extending the Internet access to wider areas with high bandwidth. Cooperative caching is especially desirable for multi-hop wireless networks (including WMN) to achieve efficient data access. In this paper, the first cache cooperative caching system was designed for WMN environments. A hierarchical cache system architecture was proposed, where each mesh access point acted as the coordinator of the client nodes inside the cell. Cache placement was conducted in the cell level and the network level respectively. Accordingly, two different placement metrics were designed for different levels of placement decisions. Simulation results showed that this algorithm performs were much better than similar ones on both access delay and message cost.
