GPS接收机射频前端链路预算分析

摘 要: 以福莱斯公式为基础,结合放大器和滤波器的噪声系数、放大增益等概念,详细讨论了GPS接收机射频(radio frequency,RF)前端中各个模块信号与噪声功率的变化情况。通过RF模块链路预算模型,充分展示了链路预算对GPS接收机整体性能的影响。分析了影响RF模块链路预算性能的各种因素,并讨论了如何根据接收卫星信号的动态范围适应研究所提出的链路预算算法。最终,据此给出系统设计的建议:卫星通信系统设计中应该格外注意RF模块中第一级处理单元的噪声与放大性能。

Abstract: Based on Friis formula, and combining with the conception of noise figure and power gain of an amplifier or a filter, this paper gives a detailed discussion on the changes of signal and noise power in a GPS receiver radio frequency (RF) module. By illustrating the RF module link budget schematic, this article demonstrates the impact from the link budget on the overall performance of the GPS receiver. Furthermore, this article analyzes the various factors that affect the performance of RF module link budget, and discusses how to accommodate the proposed link budget algorithm according to the received satellite signal dynamic range. Finally, recommendations are given accordingly: when designing the satellite communication system, we should pay particular attention to the noise and amplification performance of the first stage of the RF module.
