基于地表粗糙度的全国林地表面积计算方法比较研究

摘 要: 我国林地分布地形比较复杂,其面积难以统计,通常使用投影面积代替真实面积,导致林地面积被大大低估。通过提取地表粗糙度因子的方法计算全国林地表面积;通过将不同分辨率下的计算结果与国家统计数据进行比对,以及对不同分辨率的计算结果进行交叉检验,验证结果的可靠性;定量比较该方法在使用不同分辨率的数字高程模型(digital elevation model,DEM)数据情况下计算结果的差异;比较该方法在几种不同地形下的计算效果。研究表明,运用地表粗糙度方法计算林地表面积会受到地形和DEM数据分辨率的较强影响,面积增量比越大的地区对DEM数据分辨率的提高越敏感,呈线性关系。

Abstract: The distribution of topography in China’s forestland is relatively complex, and its area is difficult to count. Usually, projected areas are used instead of real areas, which result in the forestland area being greatly underestimated. The surface area of national forestland is calculated by extracting the surface roughness factor; the results’ reliability is verified by the result of cross-validation of different resolutions and comparison with national statistics data; the results of the method using digital elevation model (DEM) data with different resolutions is compared quantitatively; the results of this method applied to different terrains is compared. This study shows that the method of extracting the surface roughness to calculate the forestland surface area will be strongly influenced by the terrain and DEM data resolution. The area with larger area increment ratio is more sensitive to the improvement of DEM data resolution, showing an approximately linear relationship.
