低功耗宽带载±5 V DC线性稳压电源的CAD

摘 要: 为克服由于常规直流(direct current,DC)线性稳压电源的调整管集射极或集成稳压器I/O端间的压降较高,需要输入交流(alternating current,AC)信号源电压较高,且调整管或集成稳压器外接较大体积的散热器,能源和资源都比较浪费,使得其存在稳压电源内部功耗较高、体积和质量较大、浪费能量和资源、成本较高、性价比较低、不符合低碳环保和可持续发展趋势等问题,采用电子设计自动化(electronic design automation,EDA)辅助设计、仿真测试与优化方法,通过合理优化调整电容、电阻参数值,改变稳压控制策略等措施,显著降低±5 V DC线性稳压电源内部功耗,并适当降低纹波噪声。通过优化分压电容和偏置电阻匹配使其双路输出对称化。进而采用互补功率三极管扩展输出电流改善其带负载能力。最后,采用万用PCB板制作了一款所设计的±5 V DC线性稳压电源演示样品,并进行了动态实验测试。实验结果表明其具有功耗低、带载宽、成本低、体积小、重量轻和纹波小等优点,这些改善使其能够满足当前和未来低碳环保和可持续发展的实用电子系统供电应用要求。

Title: CAD of a practical ±5 V DC linear voltage-stabilized power supply with low power loss and wide load ability

Abstract: In this paper, in order to overcome the disadvantages of significant power loss, big volume and weight, wasting of energy and resources, costive, and lower ratio between performance and price, and deviating from the requirements of low carbon environmental protection and sustainable developing in conventional DC linear voltage-stabilized power supply due to high voltage drop across integrated voltage stabilizer or regulating power transistor, such as needing a higher voltage AC source input and a larger volume heat sink, a practical ±5V DC linear voltage-stabilized power supply is designed and optimized with computer aided electronic design automation (EDA) tool by optimized capacitance and resistance parameters and feed forward control strategy instead of feedback one to lower its inner power loss significantly. Moreover, the double outputs are symmetrized by regulating the voltage divider ratios of resistor and capacitor voltage divider nets and its output driving capability is expanded by adopting complementary power transistor pair. Finally, a demo version of the practical ±5V DC linear voltage-stabilized power supply is fabricated with multi-purpose PCB and measured dynamically. As results, the designed and fabricated ±5V DC linear voltage-stabilized power supply is featured of a lot of advantages as low power loss and wide load ability, low cost, small volume, low weight and low ripples. Therefore, it is very suitable to the power supply applications of practical electronic systems in the fields of low carbon environmental protection and sustainable developing currently and in the future.
