圆形、矩形LD光斑端面泵浦Nd: GGG圆盘的温度场研究

摘 要: 理论分析计算热容模式下圆形、矩形半导体激光器(laser diode,LD)阵列光斑端面泵浦Nd:GGG激光晶体圆盘的温度场分布及变化问题。根据实际情况建立物理模型,从热传导微分方程出发,通过格林函数法求得激光器工作、冷却阶段晶体内部的温度场解析解,直观反映了温度场变化的物理图像。对2种泵浦方式下的温度场进行数值计算,所得结果表明:与矩形光斑泵浦相比,圆形LD光斑泵浦圆盘激光介质具有较大区域的平坦温度场,是大功率高光束质量圆盘激光器的理想泵浦方式。

Abstract: A physical model was established in order to study the distribution and change of temperature field of Nd:GGG disc end�pumped by rounded and rectangular laser diode (LD) array under heat�capacity mode. By using heat conducting equation and Green function, the expressions of temperature field inside the crystal were obtained during the pumping and cooling period of laser; and the obtained values can directly reflect the physical image. This work computed the temperature field of rounded and rectangular LD pumping shapes, the results indicate that rounded optical pumping has much more advantages to rectangular optical pumping in the aspect of obtaining wider smooth temperature field,which is the perfect pumped mode of high power, high quality light disc laser.
