基于MODIS数据的积雪提取算法研究

摘 要: 通过对雪的波谱特征分析,利用2008年1月湖南地区的中分辨率成像光谱仪(moderate resolution imaging spectrometer, MODIS)数据资料,在前人研究工作的基础上,提出利用归一化差值积雪指数 (normalized difference snow index, NDSI)和MODIS的20,26,29,31等波段结合,并结合归一化差分植被指数(normalized difference vegetable index, NDVI),逐步去除不同种类的云等对积雪判识的干扰,从而识别出湖南地区积雪分布情况。结果检验和分析显示:利用该方法可以比较有效地识别出湖南地区积雪。

Abstract: Through the analysis of spectral characteristics of snow, using the moderate resolution imaging spectrometer (MODIS) data in January 2008, Hunan region, based on the research work done by predecessors, the paper puts forward a new method to remove the different types of clouds by the combination of normalized difference snow index (NDSI), normalized difference vegetable index (NDVI) and MODIS band 20, 26, 29, 31 and thus identify the snow in Hunan province. The results of analysis and tests show that the use of this method can effectively identify the snow in Hunan province.
