应用感知的软定义LOBS-over-WSON网络

摘 要: 提出一种新型的基于应用感知全光交换网络架构。该网络边缘采用基于标签的光突发交换(labeled optical burst switching,LOBS)技术,核心部分采用波长交换光网络(wavelength switched optical network,WSON)。通过利用扩展的OpenFlow协议作为统一的集中式控制平面,在该网络中成功实现了应用感知的光突发组帧调度、波长分配及光突发冲突避免。通过搭建原型实验平台来验证整体方案的可行性。

Abstract: This paper presents a novel application-aware all-optical switching network architecture in which the labeled optical burst switching (LOBS) nodes at the edge are interconnected by an underlying wavelength switched optical network (WSON). The OpenFlow based control plane is extended to enable application-aware burst assembly, wavelength assignment and burst contention resolusion. A network prototype is successfully demonstrated to verify its overall feasibility.
