水稻雄性不育突变体w122的鉴定与初步定位

摘 要: 利用甲基磺酸乙酯(EMS)诱变获得了一个水稻雄性不育突变体w122. 表型分析结果显示,与野生型相比,w122突变体雄蕊形态正常,但颜色呈浅黄色,I2-KI染色结果显示w122的花粉育性为半不育。此外,w122突变体株高相较于野生型显著降低,分蘖数显著减少。遗传分析结果表明,w122突变体的雄性不育性状受一对隐性单基因控制,通过基因的初步定位,将w122突变位点定位在引物FL-1和W25-38之间1.23 M的物理距离内。

Title: Identification and gene initial mapping of rice male sterile mutant w122

Abstract: In this study, the sterile rice male mutant w122 was identified by EMS. Phenotypic analysis showed that the stamens of w122 mutant were normal, but the color was in pale yellow compared with wild type. I2-KI staining showed that the pollen fertility of w122 was semi-sterile. In addition, the plant height of the w122 mutant was significantly reduced compared with wild type and the number of tillers was significantly reduced. The results of genetic analysis showed that the male sterile traits of w122 mutant were controlled by a pair of recessive single genes. Gene mapping results showed that the genetic loci of w122 mutant were located within 1.23 M of physical distance between primers FL-1 and W25-38.
