异丙醇锆阴极修饰层对聚合物太阳能电池性能的影响

摘 要: | 将溶液加工的异丙醇锆(IV)(Zr[OCH(CH3)2]4,ZrIPO)插在Al阴极和活性层之间作为阴极修饰层。在室温条件下将ZrIPO的异丙醇溶液旋涂在光感活性层上且无需任何后处理即可制得ZrIPO阴极修饰层。当采用ZrIPO/Al代替传统的Ca/Al作为聚合物太阳能电池(polymer solar cells,PSCs)的阴极时,短路电流密度(Jsc)能够得到显著提升,同时串联电阻降低。当活性层体系为聚三己基噻吩:C60 苯基丁酸甲酯(P3HT:PCBM)的PSCs采用ZrIPO/Al作为阴极时,在大气质量(air mass,AM)1.5 G、光强度100 mW/cm2下测得光电转换效率(power conversion efficiency,PCE)达到4.47%,明显高于同等条件下采用Ca/Al作为阴极时3.69%的光电转换效率。当PSCs 选用窄带隙给体材料5,7-双(2-乙基己基)苯并(1,2:4,5)二噻吩-4,8-二酮(PBDTBDD)时,采用ZrIPO/Al作阴极可以实现高达8.07%的光电转换效率。这一结果表明对于高效PSCs,ZrIPO是替代传统低功函碱土金属的一个很有潜力的电子传输层材料。 |

Abstract: | Solution-processed zirconium(IV) isopropoxide (Zr[OCH(CH3)2]4, ZrIPO) has been employed as efficient cathode buffer layer between the Al cathode and photoactive layer. The ZrIPO buffer layer is prepared simply via spin-coating its isopropanol solution on photoactive layer at room temperature without any post-treatment. When using ZrIPO/Al instead of traditionally used Ca/Al cathode in polymer solar cells (PSCs), the short-circuit current density (Jsc) significantly improves and the series resistance of the device decreases. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the P3HT:PCBM-based efficient PSCs with ZrIPO/Al as cathode buffer layer reaches 4.47% under the illumination of air mass (AM) 1.5 G and 100 mW/cm2, which is much higher than that (3.69%) of the control device with Ca/Al cathode. A better performance with power conversion efficiency of 8.07% is achieved when a low bandgap polymer PBDTBDD is selected as donor material. The results indicate that ZrIPO is a promising electron collection material as a substitute of the traditional low-work-function alkaline-earth metals for high performance PSCs. |
