丝网印刷制备大面积柔性微透镜阵列研究

摘 要: 大面积柔性微透镜阵列(micro-lens array,MLA)的制备和光学特性调控是柔性3D显示领域亟需解决的关键技术和理论难题。结合丝网印刷工艺和高黏度UV树脂的流体动力学过程调控,实现大面积、高性能柔性微透镜阵列的可控制备,并研究基板表面亲疏水性和UV树脂静置变形过程参数对微透镜阵列形貌和光学特性的影响。实验结果表明,基板接触角与树脂外扩程度成反比,网版开孔半径越大,基板接触角越小,得到的微透镜阵列的占空比就越大。在接触角为72.86°的柔性聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(polyethylene terephthalate,PET)基板上制备的微透镜阵列,高度为(51.7±0.85) μm,焦距为8 698.2 μm,且表现出良好的光学聚焦性能。

Title: Fabrication of large-scale flexible micro-lens arrays using screen printing

Abstract: The fabrication of large-scale flexible micro-lens array (MLA) and regulation of its optical performances are the key technical and theoretical problems in the flexible 3D display. In this paper, we combine the screen printing and the controllable hydrodynamics process of UV resin with high viscosity, the large-scale and high performance flexible micro-lens arrays are realized. Meanwhile, the effects of the substrate wettability and the static deformation process of UV resin on the morphology and optical performances of micro-lens arrays are investigated. It is shown that the resin contact angle of the substrate exhibits inversely proportional to the spreading of the UV resin. The resin contact angle of the substrate will decrease, while the aspect ratio of the micro-lens arrays would increase, when the open apertures of the screen increases. The micro-lens arrays fabricated on the flexible PET substrate with resin contact angle radius of 72.86°exhibits good optical focus performances with the average height of (51.7±0.85) μm and focus length of 8 698.2 μm.
