一维δ势场下的弗洛凯拓扑绝缘体

摘 要: | 本文研究了一种一维情况下的弗洛凯拓扑绝缘体模型。这种模型采用了势场波形为δ势,并且具有时间周期的外加场,通过改变一维原子链格点上的能量来引起系统的拓扑相变。本方法通过将系统由静态模型转变为含时模型,之后再采用弗洛凯理论,在高频情况下对哈密顿量进行处理,使得系统获得等效的跃迁,这些等效跃迁的大小与发生跃迁的两个原子的相对位置以及外加场的参数有关。通过调节外加场的参数,可以实现系统的拓扑相变。基于对发生拓扑相变前后系统能带图像、概率分布以及拓扑不变量的计算,找到了此时间周期场调控下拓扑绝缘体的拓扑位相转变条件。 |

Abstract: | This paper studies a one-dimensional Floquet topological insulator model. Our model uses a time-periodic external field with a potential waveform of δ, to induce the topological phase transition of the system by changing the energy on the lattice sites of the one-dimensional atomic chain. Our method converts the system from a static model to a time-dependent model, and then uses the Floquet theory to deal with the Hamiltonian in high-frequency condition in order to obtain the effective hoppings, whose amplitudes are related to the relative positions of the two atoms and the parameters of the external field. By adjusting the parameters of the external field, the topological phase transition of the system are achieved. By calculating the energy band structure, the probability distribution, the topological invariants of the system before and after the topological phase transition, and the conditions for the topological phase transition are estimated in such periodic-field-controlled topological insulator model. |
