扭转变形对工业纯钛微观组织及拉伸力学性能的影响

摘 要: 对TA2纯钛进行600℃ 30 min去应力退火,使用数控扭转试验机在室温下以5 °/min速率的对TA2样品进行不同角度的扭转变形,研究其在不同扭转变形量下的微观组织和力学性能的演变规律。结果表明:经扭转后,试样表层晶粒得到细化,晶粒向扭转轴向发生转动,等轴晶粒被拉长成椭圆形;表层位错密度显著增高,呈现梯度分布;表层形变孪晶片层增多,使得孪晶片层也呈现由内向外的梯度分布。表层的晶粒细化、位错密度的增加和孪晶层的增多导致显微硬度呈现表层高而心部低的梯度分布,且随扭转变形量的增加梯度现象更显著。扭转变形后样品沿轴向的拉伸屈服强度显著提高,同时延伸率仅略微下降,说明晶界、位错和孪晶等梯度缺陷的引入提高了纯钛的强韧性。

Title: Effect of torsional deformation on microstructure and tensile mechanical properties of industrial pure titanium

Abstract: In this paper, TA2 pure titanium was subjected to stress relief annealing at 600°C for 30 min, and then a CNC torsion testing machine was used to twist the sample to different angles at a rate of 5 °/min at room temperature to study the microstructure and property evolutions under different torsional deformations performance. After torsion, the grains at the surface layer of the samples are refined, the grains rotate toward the torsion axis, and the equiaxed grains are elongated into elliptical shapes; Besides, the surface dislocation density increases significantly, and show a gradient distribution; the surface deformation twin lamellae increases, causing the twin lamellae to also present a gradient distribution from the inside to the outside. The grain refinement of the surface layer, the increase of dislocation density, and the increase of twin lamellae together lead to a gradient distribution of microhardness with a high surface layer and low core especially with the increase of torsional deformation. After torsional deformation, the tensile yield strength of the sample along the axial direction is significantly increased with only slightly reduced elongation, which indicates that the introduction of gradient defects such as grain boundaries, dislocations, and twins improve the strength and toughness of pure titanium.
