超声波对市政污水厂活性污泥活性的影响

摘 要: 为提高市政污水厂活性污泥活性以改善生化池污泥生物活性,本研究引入不同工况的超声波(ultrasound,US)对某污水厂活性污泥进行处理。实验分别在常温和低温两种状态结合曝气和不曝气两种实验条件,采用频率40 kHz,功率密度为0.05、0.33 W·cm2,功率分别为30、50、500 W的US设备对活性污泥进行处理,通过简易方法测定活性污泥耗氧速率(oxygen uptake rate,OUR)来判断活性污泥的活性变化情况。结果表明:在US功率500 W,超声强度0.33 W·cm2、作用时间5 min以内OUR提高效率最好,尤其是低温条件下污泥活性提高尤为明显。低强度US对活性污泥OUR效果不明显而长时间US作用又会加速活性污泥老化。结论:将US作用于市政污水生化池活性污泥能有效提高其活性从而有助于提高冬季生化池的生物脱氮效率。

Abstract: To improve the activity of activatesludge in municipal sewage plants and the biological activity of sludge in biochemical ponds, ultrasound (US) under different working conditions were introduced to treat activatesludge in a sewage plant. In the experiment, the activatesludge was treated by US equipment with a frequency of 40 kHz, a power density of 0.05, 0.33 W·cm2, and a power of 30, 50, 500 W, respectively. The oxygen uptake rate (OUR) of activated sludge was measured by a simple method to determine the change of activated sludge activity change in activated sludge activity. The results showed that OUR efficiency was the best when the US power was 500 W, the US intensity was 0.33 W·cm2, and the action time was less than 5 min. The sludge activity was especially improved at low temperatures. Low-intensity US has no obvious effect on activatesludge OUR and longtime US will accelerate the aging of activatesludge. Conclusion: Applying US to activatesludge in municipal sewage biochemical ponds can effectively improve its activity and improve the efficiency of biological nitrogen removal in winter.
