马蹄纹天竺葵叶斑变异的解剖学观察

摘 要: 植物叶斑是由两种或两种以上基因型细胞组成的特殊组织结构,在植物发育研究和提高观赏植物经济性方面具有十分重要的意义。本研究以天竺葵(Pelargonium zonal)‘Ms.Pollock’银边绿心型变型新鲜叶组织为材料,研究了斑块结构切片及不同质体细胞的分布,以探索叶斑异化变型解剖机制。结果表明:银边天竺葵‘Ms.Pollock’质体突变型白色细胞和原型绿色细胞改变了分裂方向,部分表皮绿色细胞进入第二层,排挤第二层白色细胞,而第二层白色细胞则转轨进入第三层,导致细胞类型的移位,从而形成异型斑。即银边天竺葵‘Ms.Pollock’叶斑变型不是由于细胞突变形成,而是由于质体突变型白色细胞和原型绿色细胞在生长发育过程中相互竞争转轨所致,并讨论了细胞类型与竞争力的关系。

Title: Observation on anatomy of the leave variegation of Pelargonium zonale

Abstract: Variegation on plant leaves is a specific constitution consisting of two and more different genetic cells. There are economic and scientific importance for horticulture. In this paper, the constitution of the variegation and distribution of different protoplasten in fresh tissues of mutated variegated plant of Pelargonium zonal ‘Ms. Pollock’ were investigated for study on it's mechanism of variegated type changes. The results showed that the directions of cell division of mutated white and green cells were altered by development. Some of the green epidermal cells are translocated into the second layer pushing the white cells of the second layer into the third layer. The changes of the variegated types of ‘Ms. Pollock’ were not caused by new cell mutation, but by translocation of the different cell types of variegation. The relationship between cell type and competitive power was discussed.
