微型直接甲醇燃料电池阳极流场瞬态压降特性研究

摘 要: 为使CO2更好地排出,设计了不同尺寸、不同形状的阳极流场结构。在此基础上,制作了阳极主动式微型直接甲醇燃料电池(micro direct methanol fuel cell, μDMFC),采用搭建的压降测量和两相流观测平台进行实验,得到压降与电流密度、流量以及沟道宽度之间的关系。实验结果表明:在低电流密度下,压降随电流密度的升高而升高,当在一定的电流密度下到达一个峰值后,压降随着电流密度的增加而减小;压降随着甲醇入口流速的增加而增加,但是过低或过高的流速都将降低电池的性能;宽度500 μm的非均衡蛇形流场的压降变化率最小,更有利于CO2气体的排除。

Abstract: To tackle with the CO2 removing from the flow field channel, this paper designs a series of anode flow field structures with different dimensions and shapes in micro direct methanol fuel cell (μDMFC). Some μDMFCs running on aqueous methanol solution with a certain flux in anode and air-breathing mechanism in cathode are designed and fabricated. With the pressure drop measure and two-phase flow observation platform, the paper studies the relationship with pressure drop and current density, as well as the relationship with flux and channel width. The results show that pressure drop increases with the increase of current density at lower current, but it decreases with the increase of current density when it reaches a peak value. Pressure drop increases with the flux increasing in channel inlet, but too high or too low flux will decrease full cell performance; it also reveals that the pressure drop variation rate in non-equipotent serpentine channel with 500 μm width is a smallest one, and is beneficial for the CO2 removing.
