多径信道下的自适应LDPC解码器

摘 要: 现有低密度奇偶校验码(low-density parity-check codes, LDPC)的解码在多径信道(multipath channel, MPC)下呈现很差的误码率(bit error rate, BER)性能,其BER可能大于25%. 为解决这个问题,提出一种自适应LDPC解码系统,该系统由自适应均衡器和LDPC解码器级联组成。自适应均衡器利用发射机发送的训练序列识别信道参数,并均衡信道,进而消除多径干扰(multipath interference, MPI)。接收信号经自适应均衡滤波器预处理后,LDPC解码器就能得到类似加性高斯白噪声(additive white Gaussian noise, AWGN)信道中优良的误码率性能。因此,发射机不需要向接收机重复发射因多径干扰而无法解码的信号。仿真结果表明:该解码系统对于MPC下信息的恢复是有效的。

Abstract: Existing low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes decoding exhibits poor bit error rate (BER) performance (BER may be over 25%) for multipath channel (MPC). To solve the problem, this paper proposes an adaptive LDPC decoding system, which is cascaded by two parts: adaptive equalizer and LDPC decoder. In this scheme, adaptive equalizer resorts to the training sequence transmitted from transmitter, removes the multipath interference (MPI), then for the received signal processed by the equalizer, LDPC decoder can work as in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and exhibits good BER performance. Therefore the transmitter requires no re-transmitting the signals ruined by MPI and un-decoded to the receiver. The simulations show that the proposed decoding system is feasible to decode the data flow to be transmitted in MPC.
