长碳链烷基季铵盐在蒙脱石层间的吸附特性及其对蒙脱石结构的影响

摘 要: | 本文以提纯的钠基蒙脱石为原料,以十二烷基三甲基氯化铵、十六和十八烷基三甲基氯化铵三种不同碳链长度的季铵盐为改性剂,进行了不同条件下有机蒙脱石的合成试验,测定了不同合成条件下季铵盐在蒙脱石层间的插层吸附特性和对有机蒙脱石层间结构的影响。研究结果表明,长碳链季铵盐在蒙脱石层间的吸附量与碳链长度、用量和离子交换反应时间有关,随着烷基季铵盐碳链长度和用量的增加,其在蒙脱石层间的吸附量逐渐增加,其摩尔吸附量能够超过蒙脱石的离子交换容量,表现出超量吸附的特性;随着烷基季铵盐在蒙脱石层间的吸附量和离子交换反应时间的变化,有机蒙脱石的层面间距(d001)呈现动态变化的规律,在烷基季铵盐用量过大和反应时间较短时,能够形成具有超大层间距的混层结构。 |

Title: | Adsorption property of long chain alkylammoniums in the interlayer space of montmorillonite and its influence on the structure of montmorillonite |

Abstract: | Organo-montmorillonite samples were prepared by intercalating alkylammoniums with different chain length(dodecyltrimethylammonium, cetyltrimethylammonium and octadecy ltrimethy lammonium) into a purified Na-montmorillonite, and the content of alkylammonium in the intercalated montmorillonites and the interlayer spacing(d001) of the intercalated montmorillonites were measured. According to the results, the adsorption quantity of the alkylammonium is dependent on the alkyl chain length, the dosage of the alkylammonium and the retention time. The adsorption quantity of alkylammonium increases with the chain length and the dosage, and the adsorption quantity would exceed the cation exchange capacity(CEC) of the Na-montmorillonite under the dosages of more than 1.3 CEC. The interlayer spacing of the intercalated organo-montmorillonite shows a dynamic change with the dosage and the retention time. Super interlayer spacings of the intercalated montmorillonite were observed under larger dosages and shorter retention times. |
