复电容率周期介质中空间谐波的相互作用

摘 要: 极高和极低频率下的周期介质多为复电容率周期介质(periodic medium with complex permittivity, PMCP)。利用Maxwell方程和Floquet定理导出复电容率周期介质中电磁波满足的基本方程,可分析计算空间谐波的相互作用对PMCP的色散曲线和空间谐波幅值的比值曲线影响。结果表明,PMCP的特性与常见的实电容率周期介质有很大不同:它没有明显的带隙,高次空间谐波幅值的变化是平滑的,其可能达到的最大值也比0次空间谐波要小。所得结果是分析具有PMCP结构的基础。

Abstract: Periodic medium at ultra�high and ultra�low frequency is mostly periodic medium with complex permittivity (PMCP). Based on Maxwell equations and Floquet theorem, governing equation for electromagnetic wave in PMCP has been derived; then the impacts of space harmonic interaction on dispersion curve and space�harmonic amplitude ratio of such medium can be analyzed and calculated. The results show that the properties of PMCP are rather different from those of ordinary periodic medium with real permittivity: it has no obvious band�gap, high�order space harmonic amplitude varies smoothly, with possible maximum less than that of 0�order space harmonic. The results obtained are fundamental for analyzing the structure with PMCP.
