个体社会网络对经理人薪酬的影响路径研究

摘 要: 由社会网络与社会资本、经理人薪酬两大研究范畴入手,采用定性研究的方法,整理出集成研究的思维模式框架:一是研究经理人内部网络连带通过权威机制对经理人薪酬所产生的影响,在权威机制下将会使用权力摄取经济租金、提高自身薪酬;二是研究经理人外部网络连带通过市场机制对经理人薪酬所产生的影响,在市场机制下可要求雇主支付其更高的薪酬。探究经理人个体社会资本的经济后果,旨在为社会资本、公司治理、经理人薪酬等领域的研究提供一个整合的研究视角,给予经理人“过度支付”一个选择性解释。该研究尚未涉及模型的实证验证,有待于在今后的研究中继续深化。

Title: Study of personal social networks influencing on executive compensation

Abstract: After reviewing the literature in context of social capital and executive compensation, the paper brings forward a framework for research. The paper studies on the approach of internal networks ties influencing the executive compensation via the authority mechanism and the approach of external networks ties influencing the executive compensation via the market mechanism. Due to the authority mechanism the executive may use manage power to extract rent and raise his compensation, and due to the market mechanism the executive can require employer pay him more. The paper aims to study the economical consequences of social networks and social capital, to provide an integrative perspective for social capital, corporate governance and executive compensation research, and to be as alternative explanation of ‘excess pay’.
