真实开放流场空间动力学行为分析的基本思想及方法

摘 要: 鉴于Navier-Stokes方程(Navier-Stokes equation, NSE)数学研究上的巨大困难,以及真实开放流场所具有的丰富多彩的空间动力学行为,提出开放流场空间动力学行为分析的一种基本思想及方法。总体研究思想为:引入同NSE具有一定联系且实验上可测的“实验可测量”,基于实验研究以获得对NSE自身空间动力学行为的认识。目前,一定程度上找寻到的实验可测量包括:1) 空间相位斑图,主要将空间上可有限间隔的二点的速度脉动间互谱相位联系于流动稳定性理论;2) 全局空间动量/能量关系式,主要在频域空间中建立空间上可有限间隔的二点的速度脉动关系式,此关系式可作为NSE的一种表现形式。通过对轴对称剪切流、变密度圆射流、平面对称剪切流,以及单圆柱尾迹等经典开放流场的空间动力学行为分析,定性归纳了若干真实开放流场的动力学行为。

Title: The primary ideas and methodologies of spatial dynamics analysis of real open flows

Abstract: Due to the huge difficulties in the mathematical study of Navier-Stokes equation (NSE) and the abundant spatial dynamics of real open flows, a kind of ideas and methodologies of spatial dynamics analysis of the real open flows is put forward. The primary research idea is to introduce the so-called “experimentally measurable quantities” that not only have some relations to the NSE but also could be measured in experiments, therefore the properties of the NSE could be recognized through the experiments. Nowadays, some quantities that could be considered as the experimentally measurable quantities include: 1) spatial phase pattern that relates the phase of the cross-spectrum of the velocity fluctuations with respect to two finite spatial separated points in the flow fields with the theory of hydrostability; 2) the global momentum/energy relation that sets up the relation in the spectral space of the velocity fluctuations with respect to two finite spatial separated points in the flow fields, this kind of relations could be considered as a kind of representations of NSE. Some experimental conclusions are concluded in this paper based on the spatial dynamics analysis carried out to axisymmetric shear flows, variable density circular jets, planar-symmetric shear flows and the wakes of a circular cylinders and so on.
