双原子Dicke模型的自旋压缩

摘 要: 以单模光腔中冷原子系综的Dicke模型作为研究对象,力图系统地研究腔内原子自旋压缩和光场量子统计性质。利用旋转波近似,给出了2个全同原子情况Dicke模型的严格解。计算结果表明:从相干直积态出发,原子和光场几乎同时演化为非经典压缩态,原子自旋压缩程度依赖于光场初态。此外,还给出了自旋压缩系数及减小的涨落近似表达式。

Abstract: This paper focused on the so-called Dicke model, a quantum-optical model that describes an ensemble of N two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode cavity field, with the purpose to investigate quantum fluctuations of intracavity atoms and photons. Using rotating-wave approximation, the Dicke model with two identical atoms can be solved exactly. The results show that the atoms and the field evolve to non-classical squeezing state almost at the same time, with the degree of squeezing depending on the initial state of the field. In addition, analytic expressions of spin-squeezing parameter and Fano factor of the light field are derived.
