赤泥对超轻污泥-赤泥陶粒的性质及其膨胀机理的影响

摘 要: 以赤泥(red mud, RM)、污泥、粘土(clay)为主要原料制备超轻污泥-赤泥陶粒(ultra-lightweight sludge-red mud ceramics,ULS-RMC),对RM进行了化学成分、热重分析,确定了3种原料的配比和ULS-RMC的最佳制备工艺;分析了超轻陶粒的物理性质(包括堆积密度、颗粒密度、吸水率和膨胀率)、重金属的析出和微观结构,并探讨了RM添加量对于超轻陶粒膨胀性能的影响。结果表明:对RM的热重分析发现RM具有良好的吸湿性和保水性;RM的化学成分分析表明其具有很好的膨胀性和助熔性;对比分析超轻污泥陶粒和ULS-RMC的性质以及结构差别证实RM对ULS-RMC的膨胀率以及颗粒密度等相关性质有较大影响。

Title: Effects of red mud on properties and bloating mechanism of ultra-lightweight sludge-red ceramics

Abstract: In this study, ultra-lightweight sludge-red mud ceramics (ULS-RMC) were produced from red mud (RM), sludge and clay. The chemical components and thermal properties were tested; the ratio of material and the optimum preparation condition were determined; physical properties (including bulk density, grain density, water absorption and expansion ratio), leaching of heavy metals and microstructure of ultra-lightweight ceramics were analyzed. The results indicated that the red mud found had good hygroscopicity and water retentivity through thermal analysis; the red mud demonstrated its good expansibility and flexibility through chemical components analysis. Comparative analysis on the properties and structure of ultra-lightweight sludge ceramics and ULS-RMC confirmed that red mud had great influence on the properties (bloating ratio, grain density and so on) of ULS-RMC.
