HA对纳米级零价铁还原去除Cr(VI)的影响及机理研究

摘 要: 以纳米级零价铁(Fe0 nanoparticles, nZVI)为主要工具修复受污染水体中的六价铬[Cr(VI)],考察了腐殖酸(humic acid, HA)对nZVI去除水中Cr(VI)的影响,并初步探讨了HA对nZVI去除水中Cr(VI)影响的机理。实验结果表明,HA的存在对nZVI去除水中Cr(VI)的反应具有明显的抑制作用,随着HA的初始浓度由0,5,10,20 mg/L增大至40 mg/L时,1 min后nZVI对Cr(VI)的去除效率则由71.6%,58.4%,57.8%,48.3%降低至38.5%. HA对nZVI去除水中Cr(VI)的影响是双方面的:一方面,HA吸附在nZVI的表面,占据nZVI表面的活性反应部位,导致反应速率下降;另一方面,HA表面大量带有负电性的活性基团会起到一定的电子传递作用,进而促进反应的进行。

Title: Effects and mechanism of humic acid on chromium (VI) removal by zero-valent iron nanoparticles

Abstract: The reduction of chromium (VI) by Fe0 nanoparticles (nZVI) was carried in our investigation. At the same time, the effects of HA on the reduction of Cr(VI) and mechanism of humic acid on chromium(VI) removal by the nZVI were evaluated. The experimental results indicated that HA had an obvious inhibitory effect on the removal of Cr(VI) by nZVI, and the removal efficiencies of Cr(VI) in 1 min decreased from 71.6%, 58.4%, 57.8%, 48.3% to 38.5% with the HA concentrations increased from 0, 5, 10, 20 mg/L to 40 mg/L. The effects of HA on Cr(VI) reduction by nZVI was dual. On the one hand, HA was adsorbed on the surface of nZVI, which would occupy the active surface sites for Cr(VI) reduction and thus reduce the Cr(VI) reduction rate; On the other hand, the function in HA may act as electron shuttle promoting electron transfer, this would has positive effect on enhancing the reduction of Cr(VI) by nZVI.
