P2P实时流媒体缓冲区的动态管理

摘 要: 针对点对点技术(peer-to-peer, P2P)实时流媒体播放的连续性问题,介绍了一种缓冲区位图虚拟矩阵(buffer bitmap virtual matrix,BBVM)的数据结构,用来描述对策节点(peer)及其邻居peers的缓冲区中可用数据块状态。此外,还提出一个缓冲区的动态管理策略——最合适位置(the most appropriate position,TMAP)策略,用来寻找最合适的Buffer offset,即同步缓冲区窗口的最佳位置。仿真实验表明:TMAP策略在动态的网络环境中,其播放的连续性和适应性都表现出良好性能。

Abstract: To solve the problem of playing continuity of peer-to-peer (P2P) live streaming media,this paper proposed a data structure of a buffer bitmap virtual matrix (BBVM) to describe available data block status in buffer of a peer and its neighbor peers. In addition, a dynamic buffer management strategy i.e. the most appropriate position (TMAP) was proposed to find the most appropriate Buffer offset,or the best location of sync buffer. Simulation results showed that TMAP strategy had a good performance in continuity and adaptability during playing in a dynamic network environment.
