电解质浓度对Pt/C催化剂氧还原性能测量的影响

摘 要: 通过在0.1 mol/L HClO4溶液中加入不同浓度NaClO4,以了解其对氧的电化学还原性能测量的影响。结果显示:随着NaClO4浓度的增加,催化剂的氧还原反应(oxygen reduction reaction,ORR)质量活性降低。当NaClO4的浓度达1 mol/L时,ORR的质量活性仅为没有加NaClO4时的17%. 同时,ORR的起峰电位也负移30 mV. 可能的原因是更多的电解质离子阻碍了氧的扩散及电解质离子在催化剂表面吸附造成了活性点损失。

Title: Effect of the electrolyte concentration on the oxygen reduction reaction at Pt/C catalyst

Abstract: We test the effect of the sodium perchlorate on the activity of the oxygen reduction reaction in 0.1 mol/L HClO4. The results indicate that the increase in the concentration of NaClO4 leads to the decrease in the mass activity of the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). The mass activity of ORR is only 17% when the concentration of NaClO4 reaches to 1 mol/L. At the same time, the onset potential negatively of ORR shifts 30 mV. The tentative explanation is that the increase in the electrolyte ions with the increase in the concentration of NaClO4 reduces the transfer of the oxygen in the solution. Moreover, more electrolyte ions possibly adsorb on the surface of the catalyst to block the active sites.
