MTF刀口测量方法中的过采样技术比较研究

摘 要: 目前刀口法测量调制传递函数(modulation transfer function,MTF)工作在过采样边界扩散函数(edge spread function,ESF)获取技术方面存在显著差异。因此,这里针对统一的刀口图像数据集,对两类用于MTF获取的过采样技术进行对比,分析MTF测量结果的准确性和鲁棒性。结果表明:通过将ESF重采样到固定亚像素空间宽度的重采样技术优于采用依据刀口角度的自然亚像素空间宽度的过采样技术。

Abstract: Current modulation transfer function (MTF) estimation methods based on slanted edge test object have notable differences in the oversampling techniques to obtain the presampled edge spread function (ESF). Thus, in this work, a comparison study was made on the MTF measurements by using two different oversampling techniques when analyzing the same image data. The results were analyzed in terms of variability as well as accuracy of the resulting presampled MTFs. The findings indicated that the oversampling technique by re-binning the raw ESF into a fixed sub-pixel spatial bin width outperformed the other oversampling method using ‘natural’ subsampling pixel spacing dependent on the edge angle.
