岩土颗粒材料直剪试验的PFC3D数值模拟

摘 要: 采用三维颗粒流程序(particle flow code 3D,PFC3D)软件模拟岩土颗粒材料的直剪试验。通过一系列直剪数值模拟试验及相关参数研究,根据数值模拟结果,分析了岩土颗粒材料的力学性能。主要研究了不同竖向应力下剪切力和剪切位移、法向位移和剪切位移之间的关系,以及剪切过程中能量的变化趋势。考虑了不同粒径、孔隙率、颗粒刚度、摩擦系数等因素对剪切行为的影响。得出应变能和摩擦耗能基本上随正向应力呈线性变化的规律、岩土颗粒材料的强度随平均颗粒粒径呈类似抛物线的关系、剪切应力峰值随孔隙率先增大后减小、抗剪强度与颗粒的刚度呈正相关的关系等结论。

Abstract: Particle flow code 3D (PFC3D) software was used to simulate the direct shear test of granular geo-materials. By adjusting parameters in the simulation, it performed a series of direct shear test. Testing data was used to analyze the mechanical properties of geo-materials. This paper investigated the variation of shear stress versus shear displacement, the vertical displacement versus shear displacement under the action of different normal stresses, and the variation of energy during the shear process. In the simulation, the effects of grain size, void ratio, stiffness, and friction coefficient were considered. It was found that strain energy and friction energy varied linearly with normal stress, the strength of granular materials had a polynomial relationship with the average particle diameter, peak shear stress increased firstly and then dropped with increasing void ratios, and shear strength had a positive relationship with the particle’s stiffness.
