RTEMS多核处理器支持的研究与实现

摘 要: | 对实时多处理器系统(real time executive for multi-processor system,RTEMS)多核支持的最新进展做了研究和总结。首先,指出嵌入式多核的趋势,分析支持多核体系的操作系统模式以及当前流行的实时操作系统的实现方式。然后,对RTEMS多核处理器支持的实现进行详细研究,主要包括用于管理每个处理器核信息的数据结构、支持多核的RTEMS初始化流程、多核环境下同步机制的改造、适用于多核的确定优先级对称多处理(symmetric multi-processing,SMP)调度器。之后,又在QEMU模拟器上对RTEMS多核支持进行测试,通过变换优先级,使3个任务在2个处理器核间迁移,从而验证了多核支持的有效性。最后,给出了需要改进的方向。 |

Abstract: | This paper researches and summarizes the latest progress of real time executive for multi-processor system (RTEMS) multi-core support. Firstly, this paper points out the trend of embedded multi-core, analyses the model of multi-core support operating system and implementation of current popular real-time operating system. Then, the implementation of RTEMS multi-core processor support has been studied in detail, mainly including data structure used for each processor core information, multi-core support RTEMS initialization process, reformation of synchronization mechanism, deterministic priority real time executive for symmetric multi-processing (SMP) scheduler. Furthermore, this paper tests multi-core support on the QEMU emulator, and makes 3 tasks to migrate between 2 processor cores by changing priority, which verifies multi-core support. Finally, improvement direction is also presented. |
