基于角点检测和区域生长方法的车辆检测算法

摘 要: 智能交通(intelligent transportation)技术需要对道路上的车辆情况有准确的检测,基于局部特征的车辆检测这一研究热点,设计一种快速、鲁棒性强的车辆检测算法,该算法利用灰度图像的不连续性检测车辆挡风玻璃的角点,利用灰度图像的连续性检测汽车挡风玻璃区域。实验证明该算法有较高的正确识别率。

Abstract: Intelligent transportation technology needs accurate detection of vehicles on road. Vehicle detection based on local features is becoming a focus of research. Therefore, a fast and robust algorithm is designed to detect the corners and region of the windshield by using either the continuity or discontinuity of the gray scale image. Experimental results show that the algorithm has a higher recognition rate in the detection of vehicle.
