巢北地区栖霞组臭灰岩段黄铁矿形态特征及其地质意义

摘 要: 在安徽省巢北地区栖霞组臭灰岩段下部发现大量的黄铁矿,黄铁矿主要有结核状和交代珊瑚生物化石两种产出形式。通过反光显微镜观察,发现黄铁矿晶体主要为立方体、八面体、五角十二面体和近圆球形。通过扫描电镜(scanning electron microscope,SEM)对黄铁矿草莓体进行观测,统计其莓体大小。发现黄铁矿草莓体具有较大的粒径分布范围,莓体直径最大可达 20.0 μm,平均约为 11.3 μm,表明黄铁矿形成于上贫氧 水体环境中。根据对比草莓体的直径大小和草莓体内微晶的大小可知,莓体直径与微晶最小直径之间存在线性关系,即莓球越大,组成的最小晶粒也就越大;莓球越小,组成的最小晶粒也越小。

Abstract: Plenty of pyrite was found in the bottom of smelly limestone in Qixia formation in north Chaohu, Anhui province. There were two forms of pyrite including nodular pyrite and filling Anthozoa’s fossils pyrite, by reflective microscope, we found the main forms of pyrite crystals were cube, octahedron, pentagonal dodecahedron and nearly round. Pyrite framboids were observed through scanning electron microscope (SEM). We count the size of the pyrite framboids and find a large range, the diameter is up to 20.0 μm and the average is about 11.3 μm, indicating that pyrite is formed in upper oxygen-depleted water environment. According to the diameter of the pyrite framboids and microcrystal size comparison, we know that there is a linear relationship between the diameter of the pyrite framboids and the minimum diameter of the microcrystal, that is, the larger the pyrite framboids, the greater the minimum diameter of the microcrystal; pyrite framboid smaller, the smaller of the minimum diameter of the microcrystal.
