优化的地表气流及气象数据可视化方法

摘 要: 风云四号新一代静止轨道气象卫星已经成功获取首批图像和数据,研究主要针对其影像数据的应用,探讨地表气流的可视化方法。从视觉科学中大脑初级视觉皮层对图案的感知特性展开理论研究,总结流向感知的理论原则,提出一种非对称的动态流线方法,以表现气流的模式特征。比较传统的箭头和风羽网格对可视化感知的误导性影响,论述该流线方法在处理流线间距、地图缩放以及与颜色通道、纹理通道共同作用下可能存在的问题和解决方案。

Abstract: FY4-A, the new generation of geostationary orbit meteorological satellite, has successfully obtained the first images and data. This paper is focused on the application of its image data, and researches visualization methods of surface airflow. In this paper, we study the patterns perception of the primary visual cortex of the brain in vision science, summarize the theoretical principles of flow perception, and present an asymmetric dynamic streamline method to represent pattern features of airflow. The misleading influence of the traditional grids of arrow and wind barbs on the visual perception is compared. Potential problems and solutions are discussed, when using streamline method in dealing with streamline spacing, map scale and combined with color channel and texture channel.
