碳钢对AZ31B镁合金熔体中Fe含量的影响

摘 要: 采用热力学计算、电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱仪(inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy,ICP-AES)、扫描电子显微镜(scanning electron microscope,SEM)、能谱仪(energy dispersive spectrometer,EDS)等方法,研究在不同温度和熔炼保温时间下,插入熔体中的碳钢对AZ31B镁合金熔体中杂质Fe含量的影响,以及碳钢与镁合金熔体发生交互作用后的界面微观结构及元素分布。结果表明,在720℃以下进行镁合金熔炼时,碳钢与镁合金熔体没有明显的交互作用,碳钢不会使镁合金熔体中的Fe含量增加;在720℃时,碳钢中的Fe开始向镁合金熔体中溶解扩散,并且镁合金熔体中的Al、Mn向碳钢中扩散,在碳钢表面形成Fe-Al-Mn的扩散反应层;在720℃以上,碳钢中的Fe大量地向镁合金熔体中溶解扩散,随着温度的升高,溶解到镁合金熔体中的Fe的含量大幅度增加,同时镁合金熔体中大量的Al、Mn扩散到碳钢中,形成Fe-Al-Mn、Fe3Al和含微量Fe的碳钢扩散反应层。在760~780℃保温后,由于碳钢中有较多的Fe溶解到镁合金熔体中,镁合金熔体中的Fe含量增加到100×10−6以上。

Title: Effect of carbon steel on the Fecontent in the melt of AZ31B magnesium alloy

Abstract: The effect of carbon steel on the Fe content in the melt of AZ31B magnesium alloy was investigated by thermodynamic calculation and inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) at different melt temperatures and different melting holding time. The microstructure and element distribution of diffusion reaction layers were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). The results showed that no obvious interaction was observed between magnesium melt and carbon steel, and the content of Fe in the magnesium alloy melt was not increased below 720℃. At 720℃, the Fe began to dissolve to magnesium alloy melt from carbon steel, and at the same time Al and Mn in the magnesium alloy melt diffused to carbon steel, so the Fe-Al-Mn diffusion reaction layer was formed on the surface of carbon steel. Above 720℃ , more Fe from carbon steel was dissolved to the magnesium alloy melt and more Al and Mn diffused to carbon steel, and Fe-Al-Mn layer, Fe3Al layer and carbon steel layer with trace Alwere found in carbon steel. When the melt temperature increased to 760-780℃ , the Fe content in the melt was found to increase to above 100×10−6.
