高压缩比天然气发动机性能研究

摘 要: 对天然气发动机的压缩比和点火正时进行试验研究,结果表明:随着压缩比的增加,燃烧速率加快,气缸燃烧压力和温度升高,热效率明显提高,但NOx排放量也随之增加;随着点火时刻的提前,天然气发动机的燃气消耗率(brake specific fuel consumption,BSFC)先降低再升高,存在一个最佳气耗区,但NOx排放量随点火时刻提前而持续增加。压缩比为14.5的天然气发动机,通过调节点火正时,在保持与压缩比10.6相同的NOx排放量条件下,BSFC可以降低7.81%. 可见,通过提高压缩比和合理的点火正时可以实现更好的发动机经济性与排放的平衡。

Abstract: Compression ratio (CR) and spark timing were experimentally investigated on a natural gas engine. Results show that with the increase of compression ratio, the combustion rate is accelerated, the in-cylinder combustion pressure and temperature are increased, and the thermal efficiency is improved significantly, but the NOx emissions are increased. With the advance of spark timing, the brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) of the natural gas engine is gradually reduced to the minimum value and then begins to rise, which shows an optimal BSFC, but the NOx emissions are increased. The CR14.5 engine can keep the same NOx emissions with the CR10.6 engine by adjusting the spark timing, and its BSFC can be reduced by 7.81%. Therefore, a better balance can be achieved between engine fuel economy and emissions through improving compression ratio and suitable spark timing.
