黄原胶溶液流变特性分析

摘 要: 正常人的血液是一种典型的非牛顿流体,具有剪切稀化的特性,随着剪切率的增加,其表观黏度不断减小。当血管内剪切率大于100 s1时,血液表观黏度趋于恒定,呈现出牛顿流体的流动特性。本文利用Brookfield DV-III+型流变仪及Brookfield恒温水浴对不同质量分数、温度条件下黄原胶(xanthan gum,XC)的流变特性进行实验研究。实验结果表明,作为一种非牛顿流体,黄原胶溶液具有明显的剪切稀化流动特性,其表观黏度与剪切率成反比。其中,0.3‰的黄原胶溶液在30℃时,剪切率在10~500 s1范围内的流变特性曲线及黏度与血液基本吻合,可以作为血液的替代工质,并应用于相关的实验研究中。

Abstract: Blood is a typical non-Newtonian fluid with shear thinning property. Its apparent viscosity constantly decreases as the rise of shear rate. When the shear rate is greater than 100 s1, the apparent viscosity of blood is nearly constant and behaves a Newtonian fluid flow characteristic. In this paper, rheological behaviors of xanthan gum (XC) solution under different mass fractions and temperatures were investigated by Brookfield DV-III+ rheometer and Brookfield constant temperature bath. The results show that XC solution is also a non-Newtonian fluid with shear thinning property, and the apparent viscosity is inversely proportional to shear rate. Rheological behavior curve and viscosity of XC solution are similar with blood when the shear rate is between 10 and 500 s1 of 0.3‰ XC solution under 30℃. Based on the aboved results, it is a subsititue working fluid to simulate blood’s behavior in recent experimental research.
