基于瞬时统计特征的调制方式自动识别

摘 要: 通过对非协作通信环境下的调制识别算法进行研究,针对2ASK、4ASK、2FSK、2PSK、MSK、FM、LSB和USB等8种通信信号,提出一种基于瞬时统计特征和决策树识别的优化算法。与以往的算法相比,该算法改进了两个已有经典特征参数,降低了较低信噪比条件下决策树分类器判决门限设置的敏感度,从而改善了整体识别性能。此外,依据调制信号瞬时频率间的差异,提出一个新的特征参数,利用该特征参数能有效区分MSK与2PSK信号。仿真结果表明,本文算法在信噪比不低于10 dB的条件下,对8种通信信号的平均正确识别率达到96%.

Abstract: The modulation recognition algorithms are studied under non-cooperative communication environment. Aiming at the eight communication signals of 2ASK, 4ASK, 2FSK, 2PSK, MSK, FM, LSB and USB, this paper proposes an optimization algorithm based on instantaneous statistical characteristics and decision tree recognition. Compared with the previous algorithms, this algorithm improves two existing classical characteristic parameters, and reduces the sensitivity of the decision threshold of the decision tree classifier under the condition of lower signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), thus the overall recognition performance is improved. In addition, according to the differences among the instantaneous frequencies of modulated signals, a new characteristic parameter is proposed. MSK and 2PSK signals can be effectively distinguished by using this new characteristic parameter. The simulation results show that the average correct recognition rate of eight kinds of communication signals is up to 96% under the condition of SNR with no less than 10 dB.
