基于信道监听的可用带宽估计(MABE)算法

摘 要: | 链路可用带宽估计对多媒体传输具有重要意义,针对当前网络的可用带宽测量方法依然存在带宽额外开销、节点收发同步、数据包碰撞等尚未有效解决的问题,提出一种被动式的基于信道监听的可用带宽估计(available bandwidth estimation based on monitoring channel,MABE)算法。该算法分析了碰撞退避、收发节点同步监听信道空闲和数据分组碰撞对网络带宽造成的影响,同时考虑控制信息信道占空比,从而准确估计链路可用带宽。最后通过NS2进行仿真验证,仿真结果表明,该算法精确度较高,系统吞吐量性能更优。 |

Abstract: | The available bandwidth estimation of the link is of great significance to the transmission of multimedia. Aiming at available bandwidth estimation measuring method of current network, there are still some problems that cannot be solved effectively, such as bandwidth overhead, node transceiver synchronization, data packet collision. This paper presents a passive available bandwidth estimation based on monitoring channel (MABE) algorithm. The algorithm analyzes the impact of collision backoff, transceiver node monitor channel idle synchronously and data packet collision on the network bandwidth, considering the control information channel duty ratio, so as to accurately estimate the link available bandwidth. Finally, the simulation results of NS2 show that the algorithm has high accuracy and better performance of system throughput. |
