LLDPE/PS各向同性光散射薄膜的制备和性能研究

摘 要: 以线型低密度聚乙烯(linear low density polyethylene,LLDPE)为基体、聚苯乙烯(polystyrene,PS)为散射体(质量比为90:10),再与聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)进行微层共挤出,剥离后可以得到LLDPE/PS共混物薄膜。扫描电子显微镜(scanning electron microscope,SEM)观察显示,分散相PS均以球状分布于基体中,其平均粒径从皮层到芯层逐渐增加。与芯层薄膜相比,一束激光垂直穿过皮层薄膜后得到更均匀的散射光斑。皮层与芯层的透光率相近(90%),而雾度从皮层到芯层逐渐减小。运用Mie散射理论解释说明了分散相尺寸的皮芯差异对光散射性能的影响,结果表明分散相尺寸是皮层与芯层光散射性能的决定性因素。

Title: Fabrication and light scattering properties of linear low density polyethylene/polystyrene isotropy films

Abstract: The material consisting of alternating layers of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE)/polystyrene (PS) blend (the weight ratio was 90:10) and pure poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) was prepared through microlayered coextrusion. The LLDPE/PS light-scattering films were obtained by peeling off the PMMA layers. Morphological examination by scanning electron microscope (SEM) demonstrated that the PS particles were dispersed as spherical domains in all the LLDPE/PS layers and the average diameter increased gradually from skin to core layers. More uniform scattering patterns were obtained after a vertical laser passing through skin layer compared with core layer. All the LLDPE/PS films had a similar transmittance close to 90%, while the haze tended to decrease from the skin layer toward the core layer. Mie scattering theory was applied to analyze the influence of dispersed phase size of the difference between skin and core layers on the light scattering behaviors. The results revealed that the size of dispersed phase was the determining factor to tailor the light scattering properties of skin and core layers.
