对一个脉冲型太阳电子事件加速源区的认证

摘 要: 为研究太阳高能粒子(solar energetic particle,SEP)事件的加速源区问题,以发生在2013年11月12日的一个脉冲型太阳电子事件为例,通过分析ACE卫星和WIND卫星的局地探测数据得到了高能电子在太阳上的释放时间,同时利用其峰值流量得到了电子能谱,并按幂律形式拟合得到其谱指数。此外,通过对比相同时间段内SDO卫星和RHESSI卫星观测到的硬X射线数据,发现该时间附近有耀斑发生,且其发生时间与高能电子的释放时间相吻合。得到该耀斑的硬X射线光子的峰值流量谱并拟合出谱指数后,将其与高能电子的峰值流量谱的谱指数做比较。经过对比,从发生时间和谱指数两方面确认了此次脉冲型太阳电子事件的加速源区为该耀斑。

Title: Study of the acceleration source for an impulsive solar electron event

Abstract: To clarify the acceleration source for the solar energetic particle (SEP) events, we present an investigation of an impulsive solar electron event occurred on November 12th, 2013. Combining the in-situ electron data measured by the spacecraft ACE and WIND, we have derived the solar release time of energetic electrons. Meanwhile, we obtain their peak-flux electron spectrum and fit it into a power-law form to derive the spectral index. In addition, the remote-sensing observations of hard X-ray over the same time period from the spacecraft SDO and RHESSI enable us to find the flare which could match the energetic electrons’ release time. After deriving the hard X-ray photon peak-flux spectrum and its spectral index, we compare it to the index of energetic electron peak-flux spectrum. The analyzed results provide clear evidence that the acceleration source for this impulsive solar electron event is the flare from occurrence time and spectral index.
