RNF8的生物学功能及其在肿瘤发生发展中的作用

摘 要: RNF8 作为一种E3泛素连接酶,能够在多种生物学过程中发挥重要的作用。RNF8的主要功能是参与DNA损伤应答(DNA damage response,DDR),通过泛素途径放大DNA损伤信号。此外,RNF8还参与染色体末端保护、细胞周期调控及精子形成等重要过程。由于RNF8的E3泛素连接酶功能,其与肿瘤的发生发展密切相关,并且在不同的癌症过程中分别发挥抑癌和促癌的双重作用。研究就RNF8的重要生物学功能及其在肿瘤发生发展过程中的作用进行综述,以详细探讨目前RNF8所参与的重要生物学过程。

Title: Biological functions of RNF8 and its roles in progresses of tumors

Abstract: As an E3 ubiquitin ligase, RNF8 is of vital importance in multiple sorts of biological processes. The main function of RNF8 is to participate in the DNA damage response (DDR). It can amplify the DNA damaging signals by the ubiquitin pathway. In addition, RNF8 may also engage in the protection of chromosome termimals, the regulation of cellular cycles and the germination of sperm cells. Because of its role as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, RNF8 is deeply bound to the formation and progression of tumors. It can act as a repressor or an enhancer of tumor in different cancer processes. Here, we made a detailed survey on the important biological functions of RNF8 and summarized its roles during the progresses of tumor, to deeply discuss on important biological activities in which RNF8 involves.
