应用于基站下的Doherty功率放大器设计

摘 要: 为提高功率放大器的效率,研究采用Doherty功率放大器技术。结构上,采用了基于全功率匹配原理实现的对称结构Doherty功率放大器。首先分析了Doherty功率放大器的工作状态及其效率计算,然后分析了Doherty功率放大器设计匹配时的方法,并且详细介绍了如何设计放大器的传输线。步骤上,首先对系统指标进行分析,选出了合适的功率管,之后从单管放大器着手,详细介绍了每一步的仿真要点,最后设计出Doherty功率放大器的传输对消线,进行仿真。仿真结果表明各项设计均能够提高效率。

Abstract: In order to improve power amplifier’s efficiency, Doherty power amplifier technology is used in this paper. Structurally, a symmetric structure Doherty power amplifier based on the principle of full power matching is employed. Firstly, the working state of Doherty power amplifier and its efficiency calculation are analyzed. Then, the method of Doherty power amplifier design matching is analyzed, and how to design the transmission line of the amplifier is introduced in detail. In the steps, the system indicators are firstly analyzed to select the appropriate power tube. And then starting with the single-tube amplifier, the simulation points of each step are introduced in detail. Finally, the transmission cancellation line of the Doherty power amplifier is designed and simulated. Simulation results show that each design can improve the efficiency.
