热轧及退火对Mg-Y-Nd镁合金力学性能及断裂行为的影响

摘 要: 联合利用热挤压和热轧制备了轧制态Mg-Y-Nd镁合金板材,研究了不同温度退火对Mg-Y-Nd轧制板材微观组织、力学性能及断裂行为的影响。结果显示,轧制态Mg-Y-Nd合金具有倾斜的基面织构,其平均晶粒尺寸约为30 μm,且基体中包含了少量的孪晶和大量的位错。450℃以下的退火会产生大量析出相,然而不会引起材料发生静态再结晶。300℃的退火会产生细小的β相,导致屈服强度提升。450℃退火会产生大量粗大的球状颗粒,导致屈服强度的降低和塑性的增加。固溶温度(525℃)下的退火引起了完全的再结晶,且晶粒尺寸粗化到70 μm以上。300℃退火产生的β相导致断裂机制由微孔聚集型断裂向解离断裂转变。450℃析出的粗大球状析出相不会引起断裂机制的改变。525℃退火后,由于晶粒的粗化,断口表面出现了大的解离面。研究结果可为热轧Mg-Y-Nd合金热处理工艺的制定和优化提供依据。

Title: Effects of hot rolling and annealing on mechanical properties and fracture behavior of Mg-Y-Nd Mg alloy

Abstract: A rolled Mg-Y-Nd Mg alloy plate was fabricated by the combined use of hot extrusion and hot rolling. The effects of annealing at different temperatures on the microstructure, mechanical properties and fracture behavior of the rolled Mg-Y-Nd alloy plate were studied. The results show that the rolled Mg-Y-Nd alloy plate has a tilt basal texture and an average grain size of about 30 μm. Moreover, the rolled plate contains a small amount of twins and a large number of dislocations. When the annealing temperature is lower than 450℃, annealing can precipitate a large amount of precipitates, but cannot cause static recrystallization. Annealing at 300℃ can precipitate a fine β phase and increase the yield strength. Annealing at 450℃ can produce a large number of coarse spherical particles, resulting in a decrease in yield strength and an increase in plasticity. Annealing at the solution temperature (525℃) results in complete static recrystallization and coarsening of the grain size to more than 70 μm. The β phase produced by annealing at 300℃ changs the fracture mechanism from microporous aggregate fracture to cleavage fracture. The coarse spherical precipitates precipitated at 450℃ cannot change the fracture mechanism. After annealing at 525℃, large cleavage planes appear in the fracture due to the coarsening of the grains. The results of this study can provide a basis for the formulation and optimization of the heat treatment process of the hot-rolled Mg-Y-Nd alloys.
